This is a nice candle. It burns very cleanly. The smell is quite rustic, like trees and plants and a little bit of camp fire. The camp fire smell definitely stands out in the mix so if you don’t like a smokey smell this may not be the scent for you. It blends well with the other notes and isn’t off-putting or overpowering. I like the scent personally, it isn’t sweet, fruity or overly floral. For such a small candle it filled the house very nicely (I think maybe even better than my large house warmers from yankee candle). I will be trying some of the other scents as well.

This candle has a stuffy scent to it and I do not smell the wild woods I was hoping to experience. I also purchased the De-Stress candle and my rating will be the same for it.

Love this candle already! My cat went right up to it when I took it out of the box, I lit it a bit later, and she was in an extremely cuddly mood all night. The packaging was a bit wonky – the candle had come out of the little box and was rolling around in the Amazon packaging, but arrived in one piece so no harm done. Will definitely be ordering these again – hoping for the grapefruit scent to come back in stock!

Love the smell of this candle, not sure if it calms my dog down but it’s too early to tell. It just arrived yesterday and we have only burned it once, but it is a very relaxing smell for humans too. The candle arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Even though it had been hot, the candle was not melted.
I really like the scent. It is mild and not overwhelming to sensitive noses. It fills my large great room with a warm vanilla scent that I really like. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats, so I often worry that visitors smell things that I don’t because I’m used to it.
I have used it for about 8 hours so far and it’s only down half an inch.

I do think that this candle does help deodorize pet and cooking smells, the aromatherapy scent is not strong. But more disappointingly, as the wax heated up and cooled, portions of the wax turned an ugly neon yellow color – which makes it not a great display on a coffee table or focal point of the room (where I wanted it located). The candle also burns relatively fast. For these reasons, I would not buy again.

I bought this candle on a whim and we love the Wildwoods scent! It’s great for clearing the air of wet dog or other animal smells. However, it’s a very small candle for the value compared to similar ones – and our wick was totally off center, practically at the wall of the glass. I’m undecided on if we’ll purchase it again, it really was one of our favorites scent-wise… but that alone doesn’t make it worth the boutique price.

Open with EXTREME caution
I purchased the candle because I love the Cedarwood and vanilla scent and it is very hard to find. I never had a chance to burn it. When I received it I opened the box and saw the broken glass. Unfortunately not fast enough, my hand was wet and my three year old said “mommy yucky boo boo”. I looked down an saw blood pouring from the palm of my hand. My husband pulled a decent size piece of glass and we headed to the emergency room. 8 stitches and 7 days of keeping my hand out of water. I’m truly grateful that it was I that opened the box, my daughter was so excited and wanted to open it in the worst way. There was no bubble wrap or anything protecting the candle. The cardboard placed in the box doesn’t cut it, no pun intended. In the future maybe you could try using tissue paper or maybe place a warning on the OUTSIDE OF THE BOX TO “OPEN WITH EXTREME CAUTION “. I never had the opportunity to smell the candle. It was bundled up with plenty of newspaper and tossed in the trash. I really hope this review is posted so buyers with children will be aware of the danger. Needless to say, I will not be placing any future orders. This one was very costly with the ER visit and all.

I live in an old house with 3 cats, and my husband and I do a lot of cooking, and the house sometimes seems to just hold a mix of smells, especially when the cold weather hits and we close the windows. This candle works wonders. It seems to cancel out the bad odors while scenting the air with a light woodsy vanilla fragrance that adds coziness and calm to much of the downstairs. I plan to try other scents once this one is done.
