I don’t know if the “De-Stress” portion of it works as our dog is pretty laid back already. I only bought it because she stinks starting one day after going to the groomer. We have tried everything we’ve come across to get her to smell better, including specific diets, but nothing has helped & the vet says it’s just how she is.

Why 4 stars? I didn’t really notice any changes in my dog’s mental/emotional status, however it did make my pup’s fur softer, and the list of ingredients isn’t scary to look at and try to pronounce. My dog’s a 1 year old dachshund mix who gets stinky and oily pretty fast, so to avoid over-bathing him I started looking into some sprays. This brand was the most recommended on Amazon so I thought I’d give it a try. Doesn’t really smell like jasmine, but still smells great!
Why not 5 stars? One of the other main reasons I bought this was because my pup’s skin is super dry. I haven’t noticed this spray helping with that at all so far, but I’ve only had it for a week so I will update this review if that changes!

I was so hoping to like this product because of all the reviews it got. The smell does not last long on my cute little chihuahua even after spraying a few more times. Let me start by saying I have a 16 month old Lab/Pit rescue mix. I don’t normally write reviews but honestly, this spray has met & exceeded everything I wanted from it. My pup is nuts. We go for a run for an hour in the morning and an hour at night and he still has MORE energy than I can deal with, and I work from home so we play during the day, he’s not just sleeping. This spray takes “the edge off” of his energy, so he’s not super worked up when he wants to play beyond the point of resolution. It doesn’t “drug” my dog or anything like I was afraid of, it just give him an extra bit of “zen”. I love it. ALSO, AND THIS IS THE BEST BEST BEST PART IN MY OPINION, it has lanolin in it, so his dry skin (right above his tail on his back that I’ve literally gotten prescription shampoo for because I’m a helicopter parent) is SAVED immediately as soon as I spray it on him. I don’t even spray it near his head, just on his lower back above his tail and it stops the itch and calms him. I let him smell it when I take the cap off and he turns around and sits down and waits for me to spray him, he loves it so much. BEST SPRAY EVER.

This keeps his skin moisturized as well which is a huge blessing since he has gotten a few dry spots on his skin before I started using, these dry spots irritated him quiet a bit and he would bite/gnaw at those areas quiet a bit giving himself scabs all over. All this has stopped ever since I started using this spray on him.
Love that its all natural so I dont feel bad using 1 or 2X a week and the smells lasts quiet a long time. Keeps his coat nice and soft! Highly recommend if you have a pooch who likes the outdoor but not the bathes and has a coat that needs regular attending to.

The only small complaint that I had was when I took the bottle out of the wrapping there was leaking of the contents in the wrapper enough that it got all over my hands. I wanted to make a comment about some of the negative responses. I really appreciated the personal touch that Gerrard has, you can call him and ask any questions!
Some herbs on dogs, just like perfumes on people do not work the same or smell the same. The first spray I tried, made my doxi really smell doggie after a few days BUT really helped his dry skin condition!! The grapefruit spray DID NOT have the same effect! No mor e doggie smell on him or his blankets! It also workes great on my chichuhua. The breath spray has given great results!

Packaging Problem Updated (UPDATE: AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE)
I was so excited to get this, and even though it was ten dollars, I decided I’d splurge on a high rated perfume because my family always complains about my dogs smell. I was super dissapointed when it came today because the box was wet with the perfume and the packaging the bottle came in was wet as well. The smell is great and it seems to work on my dog but I really think the packaging needs to be better. I lost a small part of the bottle where it leaked out, but I honestly don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it. I just wanted to post my concerns because I don’t know how else to contact the sellers unless I was to completely return the item. I hope the sellers can get back to me and maybe clear this up. I just feel a little sad about spending so much on a fragrance with part of it gone. However, the fragrance is really nice and the product itself looks like it’s great quality, just a concern with packaging that should be looked into.
UPDATE: I am very pleased with this seller. My problem was resolved almost instantly! I will definitely be looking at more products from this seller and highly recommend purchasing from them as well. A MUST-HAVE FOR YOU AND YOUR DOG!
This project is magical! I bathe my pitbull/ridgeback every 1-2 weeks but there’s just no shampoo that keeps her from smelling bad, and I don’t want to wash her too frequently because she’ll lose some essential oils (plus I’m trying to be conscious of the drought and it’s time consuming!). It’s a perfect combination of ‘pawfume’, moisturizer, and de-stresser…which helped tremendously as I am in the middle of moving back home with my folks while I’m wrapping up grad school. I bought a couple flavors of these sprays for my lab/blue heeler mix. She spends most days outside and when she comes inside in the evenings she has a definite “doggie” smell. Its just not possible to bathe her every day. These spray, when liberally applied cover or mask her odor well enough. I like that they’re natural. I just got this today and I was super excited, BUT packing sucks; also it does not smell anything like Lavender nor Chamomile! It smelled like and old food/cardboard that stayed in the pantry for years from the pantry. Tried spraying it on other stuff asides from my dog just to double check, but it just smells weird. It was packed using brown enveloped lined with bubble wrap, and bottle itself was inside a ziplock (which was okay). The bottle didn’t have a seal and it the bottle was already open and contents are already half gone.

I like higher end (usually end up paying way too much), natural products and this one exceeds my expectations! There is nothing in the ingredient list I can’t identify. The smell is amazing and seems to remove doggy odor without masking it by a lot of harsh chemicals that either make me sick or give me a headache. I’ve tried several other natural products, paid a lot more, and found that the scent was not strong enough and ended up causing a smell of wet dog.
To add to my satisfaction, I even received a follow up call from Gerrard Larriett to make sure I was satisfied with the product. I thought that type of customer service was a thing of the past.

We’ve only used the spray twice so I really can’t say much about the calming effect on our dogs quite yet, but we received a phone call from the owner of the company (who actually said he was calling from Amazon, which was confusing) asking us to review the product. We found this disconcerting. We could understand if it was a pricey item, or something cutting edge, but it’s a $10 pet spray just recently purchased. We prefer to be contacted via email and found the phone call obtrusive. Small business owners: personal attention is great, but please know your audience and let your requests/attention match the level of the purchase. I’ve always liked my bloodhound’s natural “hound” smell; my fiance, not so crazy about it. She has a very keen sense of smell, and told me it was getting to where she could smell him when he walked in the room. I’ve gotten used to how he smells over the years, so I am a bit noseblind to that particular odor. Recently though, even I was noticing that his odor had gotten a little stronger than usual. It’s been too cold to bathe him outside right now, so I looked for some other options.
I’ve used this a few times on him over the last couple weeks and that odor is completely gone. It smells awesome and it’s not oily at all. I just spray it on and then comb it in. I don’t think the spray’s aroma lasts more than a day or so, but I think it’s definitely eliminating odor on some level as well. I think I’ll be using this stuff for a long time to come, and I would definitely recommend it.

I wish I had taken pictures of before and after. I have a dog that is missing a large patch of hair running from her upper back to her tail. This is a great product for my dog. She is anxious, and together with a sentry calming collar, is working well for her. She also is on meds, but at least this kept us from having to pay a behaviorist in addition to our vet. Its a pretty severe anxiety disorder! Ten dollars for eight ounces is a lot for me and I expected a more natural product. Also, I was hoping that the fine sheen it imparts on the coat would last: as would the scent, which becomes more clinical and deodorant over the course of two days. The alcohol in it must be neccessary for the chemistry of the product: but does it counter-act the emollients therein?
Of my two dogs, one had a sensitivity issue. The other dog has a thick coat and I can apply it on her via brush. They are both skittish of the sprayer.

First on the list was aromatherapy. Natural oils are great for dogs. She is still skittish so she does not like being sprayed but soon after I spray her, she will lay down and relax. She is always getting up and walking around constantly instead of getting some naps in, so this lets her feel more calm & relaxed so she can nap a while. This spray is so great I even started using it on my family dog that now lives with us & she loves it too! But if your dog has bad anxiety, I HIGHLY recommend investing in this spray. Also, crate them when leaving the house and spray them with this before locking them up. Thunder shirts are also a great investment along with some calming dog music (you can find a lot of long videos on youtube). Trust me, if your dog is tearing through your house when you leave them, this is a great solution along with the other things. I have had a lot of friends give up on animals because they’re so anxious & scared when left alone when the solution is simple: MAKE THEM FEEL SAFE AND RELAXED! A nice sized crate and some relaxing smells and music & they will be a whole new dog!

In the winter, I do not bathe my Corgi as often as in warmer temperatures, and was looking for a spray that I could use to freshen him up. After three days, he still smells “good”, and plan to use this spray at least twice a week to keep him house-ready. The smell is fine, but my dog goes nuts when I try to spray it on him. I have to give him a Kong with peanut butter in order to spray it on him. Even after spraying it generously, and using it in combination with calming treats, burning candles, and playing classical music, this has no effect on my dog’s anxiety. He still barks at everything that moves or makes a noise.

Buyers: First off, I actually enjoy the smell. It may not soothe my pup, but it soothes me whenever he cuddles in bed with us. Before buying a product like this, remember that anxiety isn’t easily cured. I have anxiety and lavender doesn’t really help me, so I wouldn’t expect a cure in a bottle for my dog. What I do appreciate is that our terrier mix has skin issues and they are not exacerbated by the ingredients of this product.

This product smells great to me, so it works well to cover odors. The scent is relaxing to me as stated. However, my cats do not like it. My purpose in buying it was to make a new cat tree smell better, as my cats generally do not like the odors coming off new items. I actually use it on the strings on my blinds to keep the cats away from them. Maybe some cats like lavender. Mine do not. I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 for that reason. I like the smell of this product. Definitely helps with odors. It’s not too overpowering or perfumey at all. I didn’t spray my puppy too much either and she smelled good! I’ve only used it twice and didn’t see any side effects. I personally love lavender as I use it on my soaps as well. Some people/pets might be allergic but I love it! Used it on her bed too and it really helps. It’s also a good sized bottle so it would last me a while.

Love! Helps with crate training
I loooooooove this stuff. I got my puppy crate trained in 2 days because of this. I’ve been using a towel to cover my pups crate. I spray down the towel with the lavender spray before I cover his crate up and instead of him freaking out scratching the crate, he’ll whine for a minute or two but then this stuff kicks in and helps him relax. Also I spray it on his coat and it helps him smell amazing. Truly love this. Will buy the shampoo for it as well

First off…I never write reviews but I wanted to because this company has quality product and really cares about their customers. I love this spray! It smells great and my pup doesn’t mind being saturated all over with this awesome GL product and in fact she actually enjoys when I spray her and in the past she has not been easy to please with scented dog products.
I have tried several other dog “perfumes” and my German Shep hates all of the previous ones I’ve tried. My extra large pup had always bucked around like a bull and sneezed and hated all other products that I had sprayed on her and she also looked at me as if I was torturing her…I actually had to spray her while standing on her leash any time I attempted to use other products…Not to mention I don’t like the smells of these other products either.
With this Gerrard Larriett spray she happily rolls over on her back and lets me spray her and rub it in — and without being on her leash she sits or lays right there while I apply it — calmly and happily!!!
She now enjoys the puppy massage and lavender spray time…I will continue to buy this product and also try other products in his line as well.
Two other cool things worth mentioning is
1) I let my young son help apply this product to her since it is safe and natural (the other products smell harsh and practically toxic and I wouldn’t even spray previously tried products when he was in the same room)
2) Another thing I’d like to mention is the customer service for this company is excellent. The company followed up via email and phone making sure I received the product and was happy with it. They truly care and want to make their pet customers and pet parents happy.

I got this to help alleviate my incontinent dog’s smell, in between baths. He has sensitive skin and this product didn’t cause any irritation.
The smell didn’t last as long as I would prefer. However, I am giving the product 5 stars because I just used it on my younger dog who was shaking in the corner due to thunder. After remembering that this product is also supposed to work for anxiety, I sprayed him and within minutes he was calm and relaxed, splayed out on his bed. I would definitely buy this product again and plan to use this on July 4th, when the fireworks start!

I love aromatherapy and have created my own blends. I know my essential oils and scents. This smells nothing like lavender or chamomile, period. I can’t quite place my finger on it, but while the scent is not totally unpleasant, it’s also not pleasing to me. Despite this, I sprayed this on our dogs and brushed them. The smell didn’t last beyond a few minutes, it dissipated fairly quickly. I have no idea if my dogs found any benefit from this product as they tolerated my brushing, then off they went doing their own thing as normal. Perhaps I should have waited while at least one was stressed, I don’t know. So, I can’t really say if the aromatherapy de-stressed or calmed them down. I can say that I don’t like this product’s scent and how quickly it evaporates (beats the purpose, right?). I attempted to give it to a friend that has two dogs, she smelled it and half-heartedly said it was nice. I noticed she set it on the stand and left without it. For the price paid, I’m disappointed overall.

I enjoy the smell of the chamomile and lavender. Some people are being ridiculous on the reviews of this product! It isn’t a strong smell like human purfume because dogs noses are sensitive! It has a pleasant soft smell. I was pleasantly surprised with how shinny and soft it made my dog’s hair!! Will be getting again!
I also ordered the wildwood for my bigger dog and that smells even better! Also made fur shinny and soft. Very soft! It felt good to my dog and really enjoyed me putting it on! Although, I was very disappointed that this one did not come with spray top like it is shown in the picture. Fortunately, I had an empty spray bottle I could put it onto. It has not thundered since I received this, so I can’t honestly say how it works for that noise. But I can say that when I shot a shotgun, my Blue Healer did not cringe and run to the door like he usually does. (He did shiver some though). I have never used calming spray for dogs but I’m glad I tried it. It smells wonderful and adds a nice touch after you are done grooming your dog. You can use it after grooming, or if you just want your dog to smell good and don’t feel like bathing them. You don’t need to use a whole lot for them to smell good either. A little goes a long ways. The lavender smell lasts for a reasonable amount of time as well.

Not aromatherapy! Stinks of synthetic fragrance.
I’m not happy when I see products being marketed as “aromatherapy” when they’re anything but! I’m not sure why I ordered this. If I’d read the ingredients, I certainly wouldn’t have.
First of all, the smell of synthetic fragrance is overwhelming! It smells like cheap perfume.
Second, not all alcohols are bad in grooming products, but this products contains isopropyl which can be very drying and irritating. Why not use cetyl, stearyl, or cetearyl, which are all moisturizing and conditioning. I’m sure isopropyl is the cheapest.
Thirdly, why did they add quarternary amonium salt when it can be toxic and irritating? It’s used as a preservative/surfactant/deodorant, but all of these are already in the formula.Don’t get this spray in your pet’s eyes!
They then add a bunch of “natural” ingredients for the average consumer to get excited about and market this as aromatherapy!
I wasn’t even comfortable donating this to the shelter, so in the garbage it went!

I have bought this product a number of times, and the owner ALWAYS sends me a “thank you” note, appreciating my business. This is a fantastic product…my Lab is…well…a Lab, loving to run and play in all kinds of conditions and surfaces (mud, anyone?). Since he’s an inside dog we keep him pretty clean without bathing too often. We typically wipe down the debris first; this product makes his coat shine and sparkle in the sun, calms him (yes, it really does that), and helps maintain a healthy coat. He loves it and we have no problem applying the product after a brushing. If you are looking for something to freshen up your dog between baths, and like a light and fresh scent (lavender, without any artificial ingredients or perfumes), then this is the product for you.

He is constantly being kissed and cuddled, and is always complimented on the feel and smell of his coat. I find the scent is subtle enough that it doesn’t cause issues for people with sensitivities. I don’t use it particularly to condition the coat because he swims in the ocean twice a day and get’s rinsed off, so any product would be short lived.

My dog is a pitbull, pomeranian, poodle, terrier mix. He suffers from high social (humans only) and separation anxiety. Due to his breed mixtures as well as his age (just turned 1) he can be hard to handle. He’s insanely well trained but sometimes its hard to repeatedly tell him to sit, stay, lay down etc. If i spray this on him and in the air or on the couch where he is laying he will be completely calm and usually he will even pass out asleep. We do a lot of doggie day care and boarding at our house. I’ve noticed it doesnt have the same affect on all dogs. It varies dog to dog. Some instantly calm down and others slightly calm down for a few mintues. My dog will be extremely calm or sleep for at least an hour. I use it mostly at night to get him to calm down and get ready for bed. Or if we’re about to leave the house. Helps so much. Bought one and just ordered two more. So based off other reviews and my attempt to use in other dogs… It doesnt work for every dog. Just some.

Don’t waste your money!
If I could give this a ZERO star I would. I wanted something to make my pup smell clean in between baths but the price does not reflect the quality of the product. The smell is one of chemicals. Doesn’t smell relaxing at all nor does it smell good. It smells like floor cleaner. I bought it because the product description seemed promising however, I should have read the reviews. What a waste of money. I ended up buying a cheaper spray and it smells great. Don’t waste your money on this. It’s going to end up in the trash.

Got rid of doggie odor
I have terriers and purchased this for help with doggie odor between baths. While neither like sprays, it worked on unwanted odor on them, the furniture, and the air until bath time. The fragrance doesn’t last but their doggies is gone. Fine by me. Too bad it isn’t available in refills or larger bottles.

I bought this item as a cologne/fresh smell spray for my new Havanese puppy. My 7 year old indoor Persian cat decided he was too stressed to coexist with “the intruder” and about three weeks after the puppy arrived, the cat just stopped eating on a Friday. We took him to the vet on Monday and after a series of workup (multiple day exams, blood test, X-Ray) he was given anti depressant, cerenia, and antibiotic on the following Friday, fully 7 days after he had stopped eating and scheduled him for a very costly ultrasound the following Tuesday. We didn’t feed him the cerenia which was prescribed off-label. It clearly says in the manufacturer’s web site that cerenia is oral for dogs only. For cats it should be injected and it burn for several hours. We didn’t want to stress the cat any more than he already was. I was looking at the lable of this spray product and decided it might be effective in soothing the stress cat. I applied it on his back (two pumps) while gently brushing him. He started eating a few hours later. I’ve been spraying him with this product about every other day now and he is totally playing with the rambunctious puppy and tolerating him. Love this product for my cat and will absolutely buy again before I run out. $500 for vet services and with another $750 ultrasound scheduled for the Tuesday, fully 12 days after cat stopped eating, or a sub-$15 soothing and calming spray with near immediate effect? The choice is clear. Vet even had the right guess initially when she prescribed anti depressants. This spray saved my cat’s life and prevented additional out of pocket expenses for me.

Got this spray to use on my dog during stressful situations (fireworks and thunderstorms). I really don’t want to use medications on her, so I thought, hey, I use lavender essential oil and scents on myself for anxiety, so maybe something similar would help my dog? She does not like spray bottles/getting sprayed, but other than that I think it works well enough. I also use a Thundershirt on my dog and spray the patch it has with this scent. The combination of those two things had my dog out in the room with us playing and acting normal, instead of her hiding in our closet. I love lavender, so I think this smells wonderful!

I bought this in hopes of making my dog smell wonderful. As it turns out, my hope was fulfilled. This dog perfume is made with dogs in mind because my dog doesn’t have an issues with it and he smells gorgeous when I spray it on him. It does not contain alcohol (to my knowledge) so it is safe to use on your dog. It has other uses in case you need them like how I use it on flowers to give it a particular smell if I didn’t want to damage it with alcoholic sprays but wanted a lavenderish smell to it. This is a great addition to making your dog smell better.

Really like this spray. Our dog is a single-coated breed and prone to skin allergies. We liked the smell of this and the feel of it on his coat the first time we ordered. Made the mistake of going with a cheaper brand the next time around and sure enough, he developed little welts in reaction to it. Went back to this one and no problems! The smell is really nice, too.

A must have product for musky doggies!
Used this product now for several weeks. It has been a Godsend on our new rescue dog Max. He always has this musky order especially after a walk. I bath him weekly however his natural body oder just has a musky smell. This spray has a wonderful light and pleasant scent, with just a few pumps and a quick brush gives Max a nice clean smell. This makes my golden retriever smell so fresh in between baths. What i noticed is that it lasts longer if your dogs body is cool and indoors. This exceeded my expectations. Many people are saying this doesn’t smell strong enough, but it’s a coat shining/conditioning spray and supposed to give off a nice little scent. The smell is obviously more potent if you spray it all over their coat (like its intended to be used) rather than spritzing once.
I have a German shepherd who was getting his winter coat in and it was looking a little dull. I brushed him out, sprayed this, then brushed him a bit more. He’s sleeping in front of the window and the sun is hitting his shiny, refreshed fur. I have used this a few times and he has a more pleasant smell and better-looking coat. It doesn’t bother his skin at all. He’s timid about certain things, but doesn’t mind me spraying him with this stuff! So I think he likes it.
I didn’t really expect this amount of essential oil to have a calming effect, but its the most surprising thing about the product. He has a hard time calming down and sleeping (even at night or when he’s exhausted) and when I spray this, he falls asleep peacefully. I’m sure it affects each dog differently, but I am amazed.
