I wanted to wait for a while to review this to give it time to work, but the company keeps sending me emails asking me to review, so to stop the emails I am reviewing now. My dog had a dental about a year ago but has already built up a lot of plaque. I think it might be slightly breaking down the plaque, but not much at this point. My dog also hates me spraying this into his mouth. He is a big baby and doesn’t even like his fur being brushed, so that may not be an issue for your dog. I will keep using it, but probably won’t buy again unless I see more reduction in plaque on my dog’s teeth, which could happen given more time. I think this will work better as a preventative measure, on already clean teeth.

My sister purchased this first and then gave me some to try on my 2 dogs. My Vet told me that my Border Collie would have to have his teeth cleaned next year His canines were mostly dark brown. I love it the spray bottle is big which makes it easier to use on my Chihuahua. I don’t get his teeth professionally cleaned by a vet because the procedure looks like terror to me. So far so good. We bought this product because our lab likes to partake in enjoying “treats” he finds left from others on the ground outside. His breath became horrible when he started this but nothing we did seemed to improve things, and we’d rather him run free vs chain him up so he can’t find these “treats.” We also chose this product because it was natural, not chemical filled. It seems to work. Not permanently of course. But we can spray when we get home from work- initially very minty in smell. The minty goes away fast, but seems to keep odor away and we have good doggie breathe for the rest of the evening (~5hrs). As far as for the plaque preventing and such- We didn’t buy necessarily for that purpose, and it’s hard to verify if that works unless your dogs have teeth trouble and you implement use for some time. Fortunately our dogs already have great teeth. The product does have ingredients important for moisture/salivation, and the more dry a mouth/gums get- the higher risk for disease. So I would guess that would help with prevention. We look at it as a perk to help maintain healthy teeth along with managing the bad breath.

I had thought a spray would have been perfect, but the dogs seem to freak out whenever they see the spray bottle. It then becomes a game of hide and seek, and then once I find them, they are extremely resistant to opening their mouth to let the spray go in.
Now it is kind of funny that they do in fact seem to like the taste, but just not the spray part.
I think what could help is some instructions/suggestions on a good technique, or away to get the dogs to be more accepting of the spray.

This product is so amazing I can not stress it enough! And this is why:
My dog is a 70 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback/lab mix with the WORST breath. Literally smells like someone’s unwashed body or a fishery when she opens her mouth. Her oral hygiene according to my Veterinarian is good, she is only around 2-3 years old, but we think that because she’s a larger dog and expresses her anal glands naturally, that her bathing of herself and her behind area must be contributing to her bad breath. And being part lab, she is of course very willing to try to kiss you at every opportunity.
I had tried everything. Water additives, dental sticks, parsley over her food, basically any oral hygiene product for dogs. Nothing worked.
I decided to look on Amazon one more time, and I found this product! Let me tell you, you can smell it before you even open the cap.
I sprayed 4 spurts directly into my dog’s mouth/gums over the past 3 days and her breathe is instantly minty and fresh, and even when the initial minty smell wears off, it has already drastically neutralized the odor in her breath to where it almost doesn’t smell like anything at all, just dog breath.
I’m not sure what the difference is with this product, perhaps that it gets sprayed directly into their mouth instead of being absorbed through a bone or in water?
It is so awesome though, I highly recommend this product!

It is difficult to write a fair review on this because my dog is older, has plaque, and needs a professional cleaning. The spray provides a temporary “fix”, has a nice minty scent and might help maintain freshness after a cleaning. It isn’t easy to pry our dog’s mouth open, so the best I can do is aim for somewhere inside her mouth! In summary, the best solution is to have a professional cleaning ($$$), followed by regular brushing (also not easy), and catch the dog by surprise with a couple puffs of spray before company arrives!

I’m always looking for a better way to care for my dogs’ oral hygiene. My little chihuahuas HATE brushing. I bought this for two reasons (dogs). My 7 year old Schnauzer has no bad breath and never has. However, she does not want me to mess with her mouth so I decided to use this for the plaque protection on her and she allows me to now spray her mouth because she likes the taste. The other dog is a 13 year Bichon Frise who belonged to elderly couple who just could not take care of him and was headed to death. His breath was so foul I could smell it standing up with my head turned. Though I have not been able to get him with four straight shots I can get him when he does open his mouth and even that little bit has made a huge difference, plus he does like the taste- just not the spray-he is one-eyed so many things are now a surprise. I think this product is great. I’m giving it 4 stars because my cat hates the fact that he is being sprayed in the mouth and it tends to be a difficult experience each time it occurs. To counter the horror, I tend to spray his mouth in the morning before I go to work so that he has forgiven me by the time I get back.
Other than that, I have been using the spray for about a week. My cat is a newly adopted, 9 year old who has suffered severe neglect. He has several teeth missing, gingivitis (to be taken care of in two more weeks), yellow teeth and horrendous breath. Since using this spray, his teeth are noticeably whiter, his breath doesn’t wreak anymore (I wish it worked on his farts and poop too!), and he is starting to chew food instead of just swallowing everything whole. I would take this as a win. I don’t see how there is an easier way to apply the spray, I like to think of it as trying to get a cat to swallow a pill… needing to achieve the impossible to make sure that the kitty is healthy!

Our 11 year old Siberian Husky has two teeth that she broke the enamel off of, they tend to get kind of funky if not cared for, we had been using CET Oral Hygiene Rinse since she damaged the teeth. My little dog was scared the first time when I sprayed the liquid in his mouth; just because of the sound of the spritzing and spraying but eventually he got used to it and seems fine with it now. My dog likes the taste of this, so it’s easy to spray into her mouth. I ask her to get onto the bed and roll over on her back, then I can spray both sides without any dripping. These kinds of products tend to help prevent tartar buildup, but it will be months before I know how effective it actually has been. I like that you can spray it directly onto the teeth.

I removed 1 star for not having a taste that might be more dog friendly. I read a few reviews before purchasing about how some buyers had dogs that did not want to have their mouth sprayed and did not go along willingly. Unfortunately, my dog fell into that camp–he runs off and resists having his mouth opened for this spray, but not other things like dog toothpaste. It isn’t natural for dogs to open their mouths and let us spray the area, so making it something tasty the dogs would like would really go a long way. I wouldn’t say this is traumatizing, but my dog acts like he is being punished when it it spray time and I don’t like that.
I removed another 1 star for the product design. The spray pump and nozzle work well and puts out a fine mist. However, the mist spray is rather wide, so you have to be very close (almost into) the dog’s mouth to get it all onto the teeth, gums, and mouth. Otherwise, you end up spraying your hand and the pup’s facial fur.

Love this product!! I’ve been putting it on my 3 chihuahuas for about 3 weeks and it’s made a BIG difference. Their teeth showed an improvement after the first application. Fortunately they like the taste. My smallest chihuahua doesn’t like the sound of the pump but I sprayed some gauze to introduce the flavor. She’s doing better now. I recommend you try this before spending money on toothpaste, different size brushes, breath mints, and gauze like I did. I’m very pleased with this product 😀👍.

We have two dogs Koda and Zoe. Koda has never suffered from bad breath (we brush his teeth and put an additive in his water). When we got Zoe, we did the same but her mouth would stink really bad even a day after brushing her teeth. So I started looking and found this spray. It works like a charm! I highly recommend this product. My dog seems to like it (at least he doesn’t fight it), and I have noticed a difference in his breath. I actually spray it on a strip of cotton gauze wrapped around my finger and rub it on his teeth to help clean them (recommended by our vet). I also soak some extra cotton gauze with this product and rub it around in his mouth and across his tongue to help more with his breath. Believe it or not, he is happier with that approach than with spraying it into his mouth, and I’m pleased with the results. I also love that it’s all natural – much better than putting unpronounceable chemicals into his mouth. I will definitely keep buying this product.

Didn’t Work On My Multiple Cats And…
I’ve tried a couple of the water additives breath fresheners for my feline furkids, but usually when I’ve added it they will not drink the water or even when they would they didn’t seem to work much. SO I decided to try this spray for my kitties stinking breath. I was prepared for them not liking that it sprayed (any kind of spray scares them), so I tried placing it on the side of their mouth opening their mouth a bit a spraying just some into their mouths. They promptly ran off when I let them go but much to my dismay I was stepping in, following a, trail of saliva/slobber & found them all drooling profusely, which lasted for several minutes. A little while later when they were no longer upset & forgave me I tried smelling their breaths & then later on did so again I really did not smell any difference –unfortunately I don’t believe it helped their stinking breath in any way. This making them drool, which upset them even more was not something I really expected & quite unhappy about. It’s very disappointing that I spent a good deal of money on a product that doesn’t work & even if it had worked I believe the price is a bit high for this product as well. :((

Love at first bite? Yep, believe it or not, my dog didn’t run screaming away from me when I sprayed this in his mouth. Sure he makes faces and has to shake around after I spray, buthe he actually likes it. It does help with his breath for sure. I was a bit skeptical at first. When I first started using the product Preston really had some tartar build up on a few of his front teeth. So one of my dogs has bone cancer. My other 13 year old dog has been eating her poop for about 3 months now. Never ate poop in her life and was always the clean freak before this. When Elsie had her surgery I said to Emma, she has 3 legs. We know she’s sick. You can stop now. But I guess she thinks a bear will travel just to find and eat her so it doesn’t look like she will ever stop. This product is a miracle worker! I have two Boxers and live on a cattle ranch. With out going into too much detail, let’s just say that they daily attend the cattle waste buffet! I have used products that you put in their water and while they work OK, they cannot overcome the fragrant smell of cattle waste, and when the baby calves hit the ground the odor is a bit overwhelming. This works immediately, smells so minty fresh and they seem to like it. They don’t particularly care for the spaying part but tolerate it and smack their lips tasting the minty goodness.

After reading the other reviews, I was excited about this product. I just tried it for the first time with my 16-pound terrier mix. My dog is usually easy-going (see photo), but this product was offensive to her.
I did notice an improvement in doggy breath, but I don’t think this is a good product for dogs with small mouths. The spray range is wide. Unfortunately, that means you can easily spray your dog’s eyes. If you do, you need to flush your dog’s eyes with water. Depending on the dog and human, that may be a huge chore.
Usually, I brush my dog’s teeth with a finger toothbrush and doggy paste. I’m pregnant and tired, so I wanted to find a shortcut. I thought this spray would work for me, but it was really hard to spray into my dog’s mouth. Unlike the dogs mentioned in other reviews, my dog did not like the spray at all. She tucked her tail and ran away from me. She doesn’t seem to be holding a grudge now, but she was not a fan.
With all her struggling, I was worried about her eyes and nose. I wish the spray was narrow to reduce the chance of spraying up my dog’s nose or in her eyes.
If I can find a safe way to use this product, and my dog’s breath smells good, I’ll update my review.

After two days, my dog is puking. I feel really bad about trusting this product and making my dog sick. Pissed!

I purchased this after reading the reviews for many products. I was looking for something to help with my miniature poodles breath. Her teeth have been professionally cleaned, and they are routinely brushed but her breath is still bad. So I thought it was worth giving this a shot.
The pros, she doesn’t mind the spray at all. Though she was a rescue and came to us very matted she is used to being groomed. She is tolerant of brushing, clipping, having her nails done, having her teeth brushed, and having me spray this in her mouth. The spray seems to leave her with somewhat better smelling breath.
The cons. There is only one I have found so far and that is that it doesn’t seem to be doing anything as far as improving her breath long term. Her breath will smell better for several hours after I spray her mouth but over a little bit of time she starts to smell again. I have not noticed any change in the bit of tarter on her teeth. I am hoping that will change with more use. Overall I don’t think it is a bad product.

This worked surprisingly well with one of our pups! It helped cut down on tarter, but we didn’t notice a huge difference in his breath. Our other dog is NOT a fan of the spray but tolerates it some days. With use a few times per week for 2 months, it definitely seems to be effective in keeping tarter at bay.

Follow up one year later: I still use this product on my dogs every night before bed. No need for dental work anymore – the dogs love it and look forward to it. Gums are pink and healthy. Still highly recommend. And the price has come down a few dollars over the months.
Previous review: SO happy with this product. We have two King Charles Spaniels and the older one, Molly, has terrible teeth. Of course she is sweet as ever but her teeth are crooked and she builds up plaque so bad she had to have four teeth pulled a year ago when under anesthesia to get her teeth cleaned. I was afraid to bring her in again this year and have the rest of her teeth pulled. Her breath was getting real bad again so I started looking for anything that might help.
I found this spray and thought it might at least help – especially her breath, but even the chance of cutting down on the gingivitis in her gums or even a little relief in case they are causing her discomfort would be great.
The first time I used the spray the plaque on her teeth was terrible and her gums looked red and swollen. Her little sister had some too but not
nearly as much. I’ve been using it now for 10 days and there is MUCH less plaque now and her gums are looking much better!!
VERY pleased – a great product. I don’t think I will even need to bring them in for a cleaning this year!! Will not fail in using this twice a day. I spray 4-6 sprays and open their mouths very well with my fingers and spray right on their molars and work my way around to the other side. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

It’s only been a week and I sincerely think I can see improvement! My 8.5 year old Siberian Husky fractured a molar when he was about a year old and I had to get it pulled. The vet explained to me that the teeth on that side of his mouth are more plaque-burdened because of that missing tooth. He doesn’t exactly like my fingers in his mouth, but he certainly seems to like the taste! Huskies are notoriously stubborn, so if he didn’t like this product he simply wouldn’t let me spray it in his mouth daily. I honestly expect this product to save me hundreds on professional cleaning! I used this product for three days. During that time
I could see that my dogs teeth began to smell drastically better, however she has thrown up every time I have given it to her. I started with the four squirts as recommended, then tried doing only two squirts, and then today I only tried one squirt. Unfortunately, even with one squirt she has still been throwing up. This spray definitely helps our dog’s bad breath, but doesn’t last for very long. Plus she hates it. Here’s some in-depth thoughts:

Pros:
– The spray does help, but only temporarily. It dissipates soon after being sprayed. Think about your toothpaste, you can only taste the mint flavor for a short while after brushing your teeth.
– Easy to use and spray.
Cons:
– I haven’t noticed any of the benefits that some other users have reported. There has been no visible whitening of our dog’s teeth, no lessening of her bad breath.
– The part that drove me the most nuts was the constant telephone calls from the owner of the company asking me “how was my experience,” “Any issues, let him know,” and “please be sure to leave a positive review on Amazon, and if you can’t , let him know” or something along those lines. This may not be verbatim. The problem with this is, I don’t want or expect to get a phone call from a seller. I feel the emails from sellers are bad enough, but calling my phone is worse, but I bet I got 3-5 calls from this guy. That is COMPLETELY stepping over the line.
Overall, this product is ok in my experience. It is a good short-term remedy for bad breath. We saw no long term benefits. I was really peeved with not only being called on the phone, but the constant, repeated calls to my phone pushed me way too far. I will not be buying this or anything else from them again.

Its been 3 months since I’ve been using this on my dog every night before bedtime. Just recently I have noticed a big improvement. I get his teeth cleaned once a year but he gets plaque on his teeth again after just a few months of his teeth cleaning so I wanted to give this a try since he won’t let me brush his teeth and this product is supposedly all natural and safe. After 3 months of use his plaque is about 75% gone. So this product works if used consistently though it takes some time to see results.

I live with very senior canines with various degrees of dog breath ranging from awful to unpleasant. I am very cautious about ingredients but have no issue with the ingredients in this product, in fact it made a lot of sense to me so I thought I would give it a try. I gave each dog a squirt after each meal (two to three times a day). After a week both the DH and I can smell significant improvement in each dog’s breath such that smelling their breath is no longer an unhappy thing. I have already ordered two more bottles. My oldest loves it and would eat the nozzle if I let him. The rest quickly learned to hang around after meals to get their “squirt” and it’s very easy to open their mouths and squirt on their tongues. They seem to enjoy the flavor even if they weren’t initially thrilled at the process but are learning to accept it in order to get their “squirt” of tasty goodness. I will post again when I have longer term overall tooth care results. I am very careful in the products I use in relation to my family of canines.

Amazing results after just two days
Amazing results after just two days! My 70lb husky mix has horrible breath, gray teeth and tarter build up. He is old so he can’t go under for a cleaning. This spray immediately made his teeth whiter and breath fresh (2 sprays on each side of mouth once daily) the tarter is somewhat improved but I didn’t expect much to happen there since I’m not brushing his teeth. It’s been 3 weeks and so far no gastric troubles like other purchasers have experienced with their dogs. Maybe it’s his size and just using it once a day. Teeth look so much better and his breath is sooo much better. He doesn’t love it when I spray it on his teeth but he also doesn’t fight it. I cover his eyes with a towel to protect them while spraying just in case he moves his head. Very pleased.

Please use caution with this. Make sure your pet is healthy before using ANYTHING to treat bad breath. Used it on my cocker for 3 days inflamed her throat so bad that 3 weeks later we are making end of life decisions. Dogs hate it!
Bought this because of all the good reviews, my dogs hated it!!! One puked immediately after I sprayed his mouth and they others can’t stand it either. I may try and rub it on their teeth versus spraying.

I’ve tried everything natural and this works AND my dog likes it! In the morning I spray a couple of squirts on each side. In the evening, I also use a soft brush to gently scrub teeth and tongue. Doesn’t cause sensitivity like other brands and keeps tarter and stains from forming. Love it!

My dogs hate it and I can’t really spray it in their mouth without them freaking out. They run from me when they see it in my hand. I’ve had better luck with the gels from other companies.

Since I have been using this spray my dogs gum health has improved and is still improving little by little. I use this in addition to brushing their teeth, but some days I use just this alone and still am seeing progress. Their breath smells so fresh after using this which is really great for me. On the downside though, less is more and your doggies may be sensitive like mine. On the directions it says to do multiple sprays in your canine friends mouth. If you have a smaller dog I don’t recommend this as it fills their mouth with spray. I am able to do 1-2 light sprays (not pressing the sprayer down all the way) and it is plenty for my chihuahuas. If I spray a little it is tolerable for them, but if I spray the amount suggested I notice they have mild discomfort and do not like it. I will keep using this because I like that the ingredients are natural and I don’t have to worry about my dogs ingesting chemicals. Plus it is bearable for them to use. I recommend this for any picky dogs you have who do not like alternative chemical breath sprays.

Wow is all I can say…….I started using this on one of my cats over the holidays and his breath already smells better!!! He had heinous breath and I spray his mouth once a day and it’s helping so much. My goal is to continue daily until he gets more used to it. I recommend it for bad pet breath and hopefully we will not need our teeth cleaned as often. 🙂

Bad cat breath? ….be gone! This stuff is great! You might need to hold your cats down to spray it in there mouths, but there breath and teeth will definitely be alot nicer and smell minty!

My Cavachon likes the taste but is afraid of the spray…….I have been spraying it on his nylabones and letting him lick the bottom of the atomizer. Love the smell but wonder how often I should be applying it rather than spraying the 4 times at one time.

Didn’t work for me
I’ve been rubbing this on my dog’s teeth and tongue for about three weeks now. I also spray it on a doggie tongue scraper I bought on Amazon and add a little cheese so the pup can lick it off. I have not noticed any difference at all in my dog’s breath

Great for older dogs
My dog is over 15 years old. He was a rescue and hadn’t had good dental care the first years of life. I’ve tried other breath fresheners and like this one best. The scent is good and my dog doesn’t recoil when I give it to her. It certainly makes a difference to me when we hug and nuzzle together!

Amazing Product
I’ve been worried about the cost of getting my dogs teeth cleaned and the fact that he would have to be put under to have them cleaned, that really bothered me since I’ve heard so many horror stories about losing your dog due to complications from the anesthesia. I’ve been using this product for approximately a week now on my furbaby and his breath smells great and his teeth are once again white. Thank you for a great product and for saving your customers so much money. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Fresh breath, doesn’t clean teeth.
My dog has clean teeth but the food he’s on gives him smelly breath. After spraying this in my dogs mouth his breath is instantly fresh until his next meal so I really like using it when we’re stuck in a car together. Like any other spray it does not clean their teeth or help their gums health, just gives them fresh breath, as expected. To clean his teeth I use greenies but to freshen his breath I use this.

Smells good, easy to use. Tartar needs to be professionally removed; then follow up with this product. It does not remove tartar nor does it stop bad breath. It assists with slowing down build up and helps with bad breath for about 5 minutes after spraying. It would be great if this product lasted longer for bad breath, but at most 7 minutes.

Great job with stinky doggie breath
I have a little Pomeranian and a very large Weimaraner puppy. my little guy gets really stinky breath not so much my young Weimar. They get their mouth sprayed every evening and morning and it has really helped with their breath and now that they are getting used to it. It is not a problem getting them to cooperate with me. Thank you for making this all natural breath cleaner for them!

I like it cuz it’s freshens from breath a little bit but it doesn’t last very long I like the idea that is good for her gums and her teeth she doesn’t care for it though if there was a way to do it without spraying it but knowing exactly how much to give her and do it in a eye drop that would be more better I think
