Fragrance expert Gerrard Larriett has blended lavender and chamomile to create a soothing bath experience that you and your pet will enjoy. We don’t use any of the heavy fragrances that can overwhelm sensitive noses or the sudsing chemicals that irritate a pet’s skin. Our relaxing, natural dog shampoo uses aromatherapy to soothe and calm you and your pet during bath time. Available in a 16 FL OZ bottle, our no-rinse product is dye-free, paraben-free, and 100% biodegradable.
Veterinarians and groomers recommend our de-stress, shampoo & conditioner for pets.
All-in-One Natural Pet Shampoo & Conditioner Soothes As It Cleans
Keep your pet smelling fresh and their coat looking silky and shiny. Our natural dog shampoo is perfect for puppies and adult dogs.
- USA-Made, Anti-Itch Dog Shampoo: We crafted this product to help relieve dog itching. We use an all-natural formula made with vitamin E, aloe, jojoba oil, and lavender to clean without drying their skin and coat. You’ll never find any of the harsh ammonia or chemicals that aggravate allergies and irritate skin and eyes.
- Healing Oatmeal Dog Shampoo: Our signature oatmeal blend forms a natural skin barrier for healing and recovering dry skin while reducing hot-spots, bumps, and redness (even with eczema). Your pet will enjoy their fuller, healthier coat with less scratching and chewing.
- Fresh Scent Dog Odor Shampoo & Conditioner: Instead of covering odors with heavy perfumes, our sulfate-free pet shampoo and conditioner offers gentle cleaning and softening. The all-in-one product washes away doggy odors, leaving behind fresh aromatherapy scents.
Our pet shampoo and conditioner includes lavender to help with treating anxiety, insomnia, depression, and restlessness. Ancient texts inform us that the essential oil of lavender has been used for medicinal and religious purposes for thousands of years. Warning: The scent of lavender in our shampoo & conditioner will make you think you’re sipping tea in a garden.
We use chamomile oil in our natural pet shampoo and conditioner to calm you and your pet during bath time. The oil is known to eliminate feelings of sadness, depression, disappointment, and sluggishness. Chamomile is also known to stimulate renewed energy. Even smelling chamomile can help in overcoming depression and creating a good mood. Warning: You’ll find yourself singing a happy tune for no apparent reason.
We include aloe vera extract in our natural dog shampoo and conditioner for its ability to protect and nourish sensitive skin. The extract works well as an anti-inflammatory agent and will soothe irritated skin while preventing itching and redness. Aloe is also a natural antimicrobial that fights infection-causing microorganisms. Warning: Your pet’s coat will feel so good they’ll probably demand extra walks to show it off.
The vitamin E oil in our natural dog shampoo works to block free radicals from the body, which play a large part in the aging process. Often found in skincare products, vitamin E can help slow down the skin’s aging process and keep it youthful-looking. Warning: You won’t be able to stop staring at your pup’s shiny coat.
Our all-in-one pet shampoo and conditioner uses oat for its ability to strengthen and thicken hair and fur. Oat also aids in the recovery of the eczematous skin by moisturizing, restoring the skin barrier, reducing itching, and regulating inflammation. Chock full of vitamin B, it can penetrate the deepest layers of your pet’s coat. Warning: The aroma of your clean pet will have you craving iced-oatmeal cookies.
Directions: Brush out your pet’s coat and then saturate it with lukewarm water. Massage a generous amount of shampoo into their fur, avoiding their eyes and ears. Rinse coat thoroughly with lukewarm water and towel dry. Gently brush to prevent mats and tangles.
Active Ingredients: Lavender oil, chamomile oil, aloe vera, vitamin E oil, and oat

Love this relaxing candle! Smell so good!
I love Gerrard Larriett Aromatherapy products (the have the BEST pet odor candles)! I usually use Earth Bath for shampoo but I decided to give their shampoo & conditioner a try because my Shih Tzu is such a whiney baby in the tub! This time BB sat up obediently in the tub for his spa treatment. No jumping or crying. Now he’s prancing around like the handsome boy that he is. Wish I could upload a pic. And he smells great. Will buy again and try the spray next!

I just love this shampoo and so does my little Shih Tzu. It leaves him soft and smelling great! I pair it with the spray so he smells fresh in between baths.

Yup, it’s a DeStresser alright!
I admit that when I read this ‘De-Stress’ I rolled my eyes, but I bought it anyway because I do love the scent of Lavender. I’m not sure if it’s the shampoo/conditioner but my little pup has not tried to scram out of the tub since I started using this. I probably shouldn’t be doing it but I give my pup a bath often and prior to this, she was trying her best to be an escape artist. I use the Buddy Splash spray too just because of the many baths I probably shouldn’t be giving her. I would buy again for sure!

I’m in love with this product, my dog is so relieved, she doesn’t scratch any more, her coat is white and so soft. Also the scent this shampoo left on my dog’s coat is fantastic. I will recommend this shampoo to any dog lover! Thanks for such a great product!

Great scent!
UPDATE: One of my dogs decided to roll on a dead animal and came into the house smelling like skunk! I immediately put him in the tub and gave him a bath with Gerrard Larriett Lavender & Chamomile Shampoo. It totally did the trick and he still smells great two weeks later.
I’ve used other Gerrard Larriett products and they have all been great quality. I’ve very selective on all pet products and will not use anything that has low quality ingredients. While I’ve only used the shampoo once, the smell is fantastic and it seems to be gentle on my dogs.

Fabulous!
This was a gift for my niece-pup who can be a little crabby and stinky (not mutually exclusive). This solved both problems excellently and had an added bonus, according to her mom (my sister), of removing the orange discoloration on the fur around her mouth — something her groomers couldn’t do! Will definitely put this on repurchase list!

Wonderful
As a professional groomer, who owns her own salon, I was wanting to find another shampoo that could qualify as ‘holistic’ with no chemicals, soap, or high doses of perfume. I saw this product on amazon and thought I would give it a try since the product details sounded rather nice. The over all performance of both the Balancing and the Relaxing are great. Do not be fooled when using that these products do not ‘sudz’ up. Since they are not infused with soap, you will not get a lot of bubbles and may feel like the product is not cleaning your pet. Actually, the products do a very nice job of cleaning the coat without over working the skin and coat with soap. Also, the product rinses cleanly away and does not leave any thick residue. Amazingly, I have noticed that the dogs I have washed with these two products dry a little faster than with the other varieties of all natural / soap free products that I use (Aromacare / Tropiclean – which I do love to use). I must also commend the producer for these shampoos to leave the dogs feeling very soft without the use of an added conditioner.
Now, for the only downside. When you open the bottles, the scents are very aromatic and lovely, however, the scents quickly disappear during the wash and are almost nonexistent from then after. I do wish the product scents were as lovely after the wash as the scents coming from the bottles. Although there are finishing sprays available with the scents, the shampoos themselves should have enough of a scent to remain upon the dog as many costumers I have come across are not fond of finishing sprays or perfumes.
As a reminder, these shampoos are not “tearless” and should not be used anywhere around the face or eyes. If this company does produce a product specific for use around the head and eyes, that would be wonderful. Also, as a professional, it would be nice if theses products eventually were out for purchase in gallons that could be purchased from whole-sellers such as Ryan’s. But for home use, the smaller bottles are enough.

Love the fragrance and consistency of the shampoo
The shampoo arrived well packaged, sealed in a zip lock bag and with a seal on the lid so that it couldn’t open in transit. The fragrance is pleasant and mild. We followed directions included on the label and the shampoo performed better than I expected. There was a very slight lather, the shampoo rinsed off easily and completely. Cody’s coat shines beautifully with a handsome amount of body and very good whitening. The scent of the shampoo lingers slightly. I will buy this again.

I like this shampoo but only time will tell if it really helps with my dog’s itchy skin. Unlike some of the other reviews, she did not magically love her bath but she did submit to it! Beyond that, it smells good and stays smelling good for a few extra days. The only weird thing was that the company actually called and left a message on my phone asking me how I was liking the product. That’s kind of cool and kind of weird.

Love this shampoo
Love this shampoo. I’ve only used it once but I definitely notice that it keeps my dog smelling fresh and clean longer than any other shampoo I’ve used. The scent is subtle and pleasant to the olfactory senses. It also makes his fur feel soft and rinses off clean without leaving a grime/residue. I highly recommend it. This is going to be my go-to shampoo for my dog from now on.

They smell good, they come out super soft and cuddly
Having short-nosed stinky dogs (pugs, english bulldog, boston terriers), I am impressed with this shampoo and this is my second purchase. We have tried everything for problematic skin; diet changes, special soaps, antibiotics…the list is long and expensive. Most soaps dry them out, then you have to put on conditioner making them feel greasy instead of soft. This shampoo, and going through a hundred diet options until settling on Merrick back country and honest kitchen, seems to do the job. They smell good, they come out super soft and cuddly…exactly as they’re supposed to be. My bostons don’t mind the soap, but they still give bath time 1 star.

I purchased the lavender & chamomile shampoo and de-stress pet spray. They are wonderful!!! My dogs smell amazing and their coats are nice and shiny. The shampoo doesn’t create a huge lather but in my experience using natural products that seems typical. Great results! Our little girl always likes her bath …
Bought this last week and gave our Zoe (Maltese) a bath. Great results! Our little girl always likes her bath and this product did a wonderful job. We always had trouble getting her muzzle really white and this did a great job. I was initially concerned because it doesn’t foam much but this did not effect the cleaning, in fact it made it much easier to rinse her. I look forward to trying some of their other products.
KristenKumm –
Disappointed
Smells ok, it starts off smelling almost like a soft baby powder. But I have two dogs, and after a few hours the smell would start to smell “off,” and just not fresh anymore. I think the 6$ crap at Kmart is better. Neither my puppy (Rott) nor my grown dog (long haired weenie) are rowdy dogs in the tub so I can not speak on the “de-stressing,” aspect. They seemed typically calm for them.
I’m more or less disappointed because I was looking for a long term smell, which I’ve only typically found in the oatmeal soaps. I bathe both
my beast once or twice a week, depending on the rain here in WA. Label is pretty. –

Good product, I will buy again
Good product! This really did decrease the body odor on my schnauzer. He didn’t seem to mind the bath with this shampoo is much as with other shampoos. I do wish it had more lather, that always me feel cleaner, but I’ll give up lather in favor of less body odor.

Great shampoo. We’ve been using for 3 month now
Great shampoo. We’ve been using for 3 month now. Due to significant family allergies, we have to bathe our labradoodle once a week. This shampoo leaves his fur soft, and in great condition. His skin is always happy and the lavender & chamomile has a mild aroma and smells great. Only wish is that there was a mild spray-on leave-in conditioner to help with static since we bathe him so often. But I highly recommend this product. We are very happy and will continue to purchase. (Larger bottles would be great too!)

The softest my dogs have EVER been!
This shampoo makes our dogs soooo soft! I can even smell them hours later, which has never been the case with other dog shampoos they sweat out the smell fast. My dogs have itchy and flaky skin so I’m hoping this helps with that, but it’s too early to tell. So far for lather, softness, shine and scent this is a great product.

Worked better than I expected and I have tried everything. Even the stuff the vet gave me. He was scratching non stop and when I gave him a bath with this product, stopped almost immediately. Still too new to know how long this will last between washing but if it is anything like the itching issue I won’t need to bath him but once a month versus once a week. Well worth the investment.

Disappointing experience all around. Seemed to need a lot more product to be used than normal while still producing no soap, making me feel like I’m rubbing their hair with just water. Not very comfortable. Also when time to blow dry and brush, hair had a matted consistency to it that I’ve never felt from any other pet shampoo I’ve used. Was hoping for a much better experience than that :/

Great shampoo
I have tried numerous shampoos for my maltepeekapoo over the last years. Her skin and hair are so finicky and easily dry out. This shampoo didn’t do that. It smells great (of course) and Lucy continues to smell great two days after her bath. And her coat is brighter. I will purchase again.

Excellent dog shampoo!
This is the best dog shampoo that I have ever used on my two boxers. You can really smell the lavender and chamomile in the shampoo. It has low suds, so it is easy to wash out of their coats. It did not take me long to wash each of my dogs. It is very good for my dogs’ skin because it is made of all natural products. There are no harsh ammonias or any other chemicals in it that would irritate their soft skin. I am very particular about the products that I use on my pets.
I usually take my two dogs to a groomer to have them bathed. It is getting quite expensive, because they both are over 60 pounds. When I was looking on Amazon, I came across the Gerard Larriet Aromatherapy pet care products. I decided to take a chance and try their shampoo. I am so glad I did! After the dogs were done with their baths, they smelled fresh and clean. There was no overbearing smell from the lavender and chamomile. It left their coats feeling shiny and soft. I do not see any redness or any signs of irritation from the shampoo. I highly recommend this to all dog parents who are wanting to use a gentle shampoo, free of any chemicals on their dogs.

Deodorizes
This shampoo claims to be many things: Conditioner, Whitener, Deodorizer, Oatmeal, Medicated & Aromatheraputic. ” Lavendar &Chamomile “has neither in it’s ingredient list…makes me feel foolish for not shopping more carefully .. I must have liked that it advertised as being able to do so many things, but alas it is just an average shampoo.
A lightly-sudsing Deodorizing Shampoo. Not for sensitive dogs.. May be good for smelly dogs… Mine smell fine, so it’s more than I need in that regard.
I have used this shampoo twice and have taken time to honestly assess it’s efficiency: an average shampoo but not at the naturalness of scent or creaminess of conditioning for my money.

If I bathe her at home and use a gentle soap it is not as bad, so I have learned to be her groomer
I have 3 Bichons and one of them has allergies and gets hot spots when I take her to the groomer. She has been to multiple groomers, as we have lived both MT & CA and still the same thing, every time she goes to the groomer for the past 6 years she ends up scratching & biting herself. If I bathe her at home and use a gentle soap it is not as bad, so I have learned to be her groomer. I decided to try this shampoo on her, with my fingers crossed. It has been a full day since I bathed her so far she has not shown any signs of allergies and is pretty white.

Works great on my cavachon. Lola is part Bichon Frise and Cavalier King Charles spaniel, which means a wavy, thick fur that mats too easily. Not sure if it is the long walk before bath, the bone she knows she gets after a bath or the fact that this is what she gets bathed with but Lola looks forward to bath time and so do I.
This shampoo/conditioner delivers the great scent and works at removing dirt, soil and scent from her coat. It is easy to comb out before and after the bath. I definately recommend this product.

Sweet (not quite) sixteen
Better than expectations. What can I say? Our rescue girl, Poco (the part-lab), is now a senior citizen, and experiencing age-related problems. Some of which come with increased body odor. This shampoo left her smelling better for a longer time than many other options tried, and left her coat yesteryear soft. She still wakes me twice a night due to weakening kidneys. I miss the sleep, but not nearly as much as I’d miss our girl…

Has a very nice fragrance and does leave my pup’s coat nice and soft. There is not a lot of residual fragrance left after rinsing. A winner
I have 2 generic white fluffies and I live along the Maine coastline. The dogs spend part of every day chasing chipmunks and rolling in seaweed. Baths every other weekend. Being able to wash and condition the dogs in one step is great! Takes less time, stresses the dogs less. A real winner.

My Cat Doesn’t Stink Anymore
Wow. I gave my little fur balls baths today with this shampoo and they are so shiny and smell great. My cat is a terror to bathe, but the de-stress really worked for her. She was about 50% less nuts and actually stood still for a minute. Huge improvement for her. Their fur is so soft. The shampoo is thick, has no harmful chemicals, like SSLs, which are what cheap brands use to get lather. Honestly, I was shocked that anyone would give this product a bad review. Firstly, I find the scent quite strong, unlike some other users who complained the smell faded. Well, how long do you stay daisy fresh after a bath? I thought it lathered fine, too, but then I’m used to natural products that don’t have a bunch of crap in them to trick people into thinking a cleaning product works because it lathers and smells overpowering.

Lovely scent
This smells great but I am planning on adding lavender essential oil to it as the scent is very faint. I tried it on my dogs after their bath yesterday and it smelled great, but wasn’t strong and didn’t last long. I guess I’m looking for a more lasting and slightly stronger scent. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a mild smelling natural dog cologne, this is great.

I thoroughly enjoyed using this shampoo
Oh my goodness. This dog shampoo may be life changing, no joke! First impressions on dog shampoo. We have two boxers, and if you’ve never smelt a stinky boxer before… well…. yes, it’s bad. Bath time has always been a struggle for us and I just got done bathing the dogs and I seriously feel like we all had a two hour massage with how relaxed we all are. Now, I also used a Massage Brush on them that I can tell they thoroughly enjoyed. I like that this shampoo is natural because my boxers have finicky skin (which I think a lot do). With the massage brush, I felt like I used so much less shampoo. This one smells amazing and I think it definitely contributed to the relaxing feel of bath time. The best thing is, I just walked by the bathroom and it doesn’t smell like wet, dirty dog. I will update this review once I’ve had a proper test run of this product, but I’m already so impressed that I think I found a lifelong product. YES!

After using this shampoo I notice her skin problem went away which was great news. This will be my new go to shampoo for my dog. This is a little late to say, but I bought the lavender & chamomile, but I will try their other scents to find which is the best smell. As a bonus it leaves my dog’s fur super soft and smooth. As you can probably tell from this review absolutely recommend this shampoo. Here is a bonus pic for you guys my adorable dog.

Just average, kinda pricy
Bought it based on the high reviews on Amazon and tried it on my dog right away. However it was not as amazing as what other reviews are saying. The shampoo didn’t lather as much so I had to use a lot of shampoo. The smell is pleasant but not very noticeable the following day, so odor eliminating is not very effective. My dog constantly licks his feet and pawn after bath and I hope it’s not the shampoo that’s making his skin irritated again.

Her itching got even worse!
I love the smell of this shampoo. It’s clean but not perfume like. I thought it would keep my puppy dog from itching, but I was so wrong. The second time I used it she began itching and licking like crazy! I know I washed the soap off well, too. It also seemed watered down because it took a lot of shampoo to work up a lather. It took about three times what I have used before. I hate to say bad things about a product, but I was very disappointed. I’m not sure what I’ll do with the rest.

Creamy’s now getting the shampoo she deserves!
Creamy endured months and months of a cut-rate shampoo with whitener. What do I know, it’s soap to clean a dog, right? As the bottle runs dry, I get to thinking she deserves better. She’s a Maltese–but that means little to me. She’s loyal, smart, and favors dad over the rest of the house full of women. That rates her some better shampoo, I figure. Tonight Creamy got her first De-Stress washing and I could tell. She was calmer, and her hair was more subdued. It didn’t stick out as much, was quicker to dry, seemed much smoother… and there were no knots during her first post-wash combing. I’m no groomer, and we don’t prim our dog for shows–but this shampoo makes for a happier, more comfortable dog. Creamy deserves that!

Just got it today and used it. My first impressions are that it does smell really nice to me and that it was a pleasant smell for my dog. He’s never been difficult to wash so I can’t say if it made him more relaxed while washing him, but seeing as he went straight to sleep afterwards, it was probably very pleasant for him.

The first thing you’ll notice about this luscious pooch shampoo is the wonderful fragrance. I have two dogs and on bath day I started with the one that dislikes baths the most. Thank you for making a product that is gentle and leaves my fur babies smelling great…oh and the added bonus is, her fur is super soft!! You’ve got a customer for life!

Best shampoo ever!
The only shampoo I use on my bull mastiff/staffordshire terrior. Leaves her coat shiny and soft. Best part is that she smells SO good!

Great smelling shampoo and didn’t leave dogs itching
Really like this shampoo for in-between groomer trips. Dogs smell great and don’t itch.

Would not recommend this dry shampoo!!
I followed the instructions on the bottle but it made my puppy’s hair look greasy!!!
I will need to take her to the grooming salon
Tomorrow 😢

Bottle arrived empty 🙁
Not a drop of product found in the bottle or packaging. Seal around the cap of the bottle appears to be old, loose and worn down. I’m sure it was an accident but I’m not sure if I want to reorder.

Thank you!

Liked it!
Used it for the first time yesterday and it worked really well. I wasn’t sure about the combined shampoo/conditioner but my dog likes there being one less step! Would recommend!

Smells great and cured my dog’s itching
I have a maltese and have always owned maltese and have always used whitening shampoos to keep them white and bright! However, that did work well for my newest little guy. He constantly itched and ended up with dry skin. I tried shampoo after shampoo to try and find one that would keep him smelling great for a week until his next bath, cured his itchy sensitive skin, and yet didn’t dull his fur. This stuff works great and I am now a repeat customer!!

Great scent and shine
Have used this shampoo on my dog for 4 years and will continue to use it. Has a great scent and leaves my dog’s fur soft and shiny.
It is a bit thick, so would recommend diluting it before using it. This will help when rinsing.

My labs love it!
This shampoo is amazing! Just the smell worked wonders for anxiety at bath time for both of us. Left their coats soft and shiny after air drying.

It works the first try!
I bought this product after reading the reviews for my chihuahua who has been shedding more than usual. Let me say so far it has been amazing and it was the first try. I’ve seen a big change. So I’ll continue monitoring her coat etc.

Nice product. Smells light and clean. Our Chinese crested skin is sensitive and exposed and no problems. I am support small businesses too so I like this brand.
